Wine & Wellness Retreat
Retreat services provided by Innamo Travel, in partnership with HerSpace London. Please read these terms carefully before booking. If you do not already have a comprehensive travel insurance policy, we strongly advise taking one out as soon as possible after booking your retreat.
Innamo Travel, Ltd — known and referred to hereafter as Innamo Travel — accepts bookings subject to the following conditions. All retreat participants must make themselves aware of these terms and conditions and accept the risks associated with the retreat activities. Each guest is responsible for taking out appropriate personal accident, holiday, cancellation and illness cover insurance for the full duration of their chosen retreat — this is a non-negotiable condition of booking.
In this agreement, unless otherwise specified, the following expressions refer to the following meanings.
Booking — The booking made by the client with Innamo Travel, as set out on the Innamo Travel booking form.
Booking Form — The booking form produced by Innamo Travel, to be completed by the client when and upon making a booking.
Contract — The contract between the client and Innamo Travel, under which the services are provided by Innamo Travel to the client.
Client — The individual who makes the booking with Innamo Travel. All individuals to whom the services are provided must be a minimum age of 18 years. Under special agreement, Innamo Travel may consider offering a retreat place to a person between the ages of 16 and 18, but only with written acceptance by Innamo Travel and special terms and conditions attached, including the guest being accompanied by an appropriate adult who assumes full responsibility for the minor.
Payment — The total fee is due for payment strictly 6 full weeks in advance of the retreat commencement date.
Fee — The amount payable to Innamo Travel under the contract.
Deposit — A deposit of 50% of the booking fee per person is required to reserve each place at the retreat.
Force Majeure / Special Circumstances — Any act, event, omission or accident beyond Innamo Travel’s reasonable control, including but not limited to Act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or government order, rule, pandemic, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm, adverse weather, default of suppliers or subcontractors, strikes, lock-outs, or other industrial disputes, or failure of a utility service or transport network. This also includes the closure of Italian borders, a national or global health issue such as a pandemic, or WHO, FCO, or Italian Government advice that it is not safe to travel to our location during a scheduled retreat.
Major Change — A change in the date or over 80% of the content of the service, the exception being under “special circumstances.”
Recordings — Photographs, videos, or any other audio-visual recordings taken of clients during the provision of the services.
A contract for the services is made between Innamo Travel and the client on the issue of a written confirmation of booking by Innamo Travel. The contract is subject to these booking conditions, which the client is deemed to have read and fully understood. These conditions can only be varied by written agreement between Innamo Travel and the client.
To place a booking, Innamo Travel requires a completed booking form together with payment of a deposit of 50% of the retreat cost per person, based upon single or shared occupancy. If a booking is made by telephone or email, the client is deemed to have read and fully understood these conditions. All bookings are provisional and only confirmed once the deposit payment has cleared Innamo Travel’s bank account. Innamo Travel reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
The fee payable at the time of booking (50% of the retreat cost) covers the planning, organising and delivery of the proposed services. The remaining balance is due at least 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the retreat, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
If the balance is not paid within the specified time frame, Innamo Travel may treat the booking as cancelled by the client and re-sell the retreat place. If the place is not reallocated, Innamo Travel will retain all fees paid thus far. Should a guest not pay in full within 30 days of the retreat start date, Innamo Travel has the right to cancel the reservation without notice or compensation, and no refund will be due.
Travel to and from the retreat’s country is the sole responsibility of the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Innamo Travel will provide one airport transfer each way, at specific times only — if a client cannot meet the transfer provided, they must make their own way to the retreat.
The client is responsible for their own personal medical needs, clothing and footwear for the duration of the services, and must inform Innamo Travel in writing of any past, present or potential health issues that may affect their participation. Failure to disclose may result in Innamo Travel terminating the contract without refund. If a letter of suitability is required from a guest’s medical professional, it must be received a minimum of 7 days prior to the retreat start date.
It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure the balance is paid in full and on time, and to have purchased comprehensive and appropriate travel and medical insurance for the full duration of the retreat, including personal accident, holiday and cancellation insurance. Purchasing this insurance is a condition of booking.
All clients should be aware that participating in any exercise or movement programme carries the possibility of physical injury. By booking, you agree to assume such risk and release Innamo Travel from claims for liability, injury, loss or damage arising from your participation.
Any medical condition that may affect your participation must be disclosed prior to booking. If Innamo Travel believes your health or safety is at risk, or you have failed to disclose relevant information, your participation or contract may be terminated at Innamo Travel’s discretion, without refund. It is always advisable to consult a doctor before beginning any exercise programme.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including personal accident, cancellation cover, and cover for all of Innamo Travel’s terms and conditions, purchased immediately upon booking.
Innamo Travel reserves the right to change any price or other particulars before the contract becomes binding. In the event of a major change, Innamo Travel will notify the client and seek to offer arrangements as close to the original as reasonably possible. For any other change, Innamo Travel is not obliged to inform the client in advance or pay compensation.
The retreat offers a complimentary return private group airport transfer, offered on official arrival and departure days only, at set times — Innamo Travel reserves the right to change these times to accommodate the group. For guests whose flights are delayed and who miss the group transfer, Innamo Travel will help arrange an alternative, but the cost must be met by the guest.
If the client wishes to cancel, they must advise Innamo Travel in writing as soon as reasonably possible. Cancellation charges are based on the number of days before the retreat start date:
Less than 6 weeks before arrival: 100% of the retreat cost is retained by Innamo Travel.
From time of booking: 50% of the retreat cost (the deposit) is retained by Innamo Travel.
Refunds are made minus any applicable bank or card payment fees, plus an administration fee of £150.00 per client, and minus any third-party commissions where applicable. Bank transfer refunds are made in UK Sterling or Euros.
Innamo Travel will always endeavour to fulfil confirmed bookings. However, Innamo Travel reserves the right to cancel a scheduled retreat date or individual booking. If cancelled prior to commencement, the client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of monies paid (minus card charges and third-party commission where applicable) — except where cancellation is due to special circumstances beyond Innamo Travel’s control.
The contract may be assigned by the client to a third party only with Innamo Travel’s prior written consent. The client must give notice in writing with the third party’s full name, address and contact details. Innamo Travel reserves the right to refuse an assignment at any time and without reason; if a client must then cancel, standard cancellation charges apply. Innamo Travel may assign or subcontract its own obligations without the client’s consent.
Innamo Travel reserves the right to alter the content of the services at any time without notice, due to factors including weather, staff availability, or guest fitness levels. If a client elects not to participate in any service, Innamo Travel has no obligation to provide an alternative and the client is not entitled to a refund.
Clients must refrain from any illegal act or conduct which may cause offence, danger or damage. If Innamo Travel or its team become aware of such conduct, the client may be removed from the property at Innamo Travel’s absolute discretion, without refund or compensation.
Costs incurred by guests during the retreat may include private 1-2-1 appointments with the retreat team, additional or offsite meals and snacks, additional activities provided by third parties, and shopping or alcohol purchased beyond what is included (approximately half a bottle of wine per person per day).
Full board is defined as 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on full retreat days only, excluding the Siena/Radda in Chianti day trip, during which guests provide their own lunch. On arrival day, only a welcome dinner and light snacks are provided; on departure day, only breakfast is included.
Any problem during the retreat should be reported to the Retreat Director so it can be resolved promptly. If unresolved, complaints must be notified to Innamo Travel in writing within 7 days of the end of the retreat. Failure to do so precludes further action against Innamo Travel.
Villa Cecconi offers accommodation in private en suite rooms for retreat durations of 6 nights or less, with maid service including a mid-week linen change. We operate a privacy policy for guests — venue staff will only enter a room when the guest is present or with permission, except in an emergency.
The retreat finishes at 10.00am exactly on the day of departure. Guests must vacate rooms by 10.00am, though where possible a later departure (up to 12.00 noon) may be accommodated at the venue’s discretion.
None of the exclusions in these conditions limit any rights the client may have under statute or common law, nor exclude liability for personal injury or death resulting from Innamo Travel’s negligence, or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
The client understands that attending any activity involves some level of risk, including but not limited to physical injury. By attending, the client agrees to assume these risks and release Innamo Travel and its directors, employees and agents from claims for liability. Neither Innamo Travel nor its representatives will be liable for loss or damage to personal property or vehicles belonging to the client during the services.
It is the sole responsibility of the client to purchase full and adequate medical, personal injury and holiday insurance for the full duration of their stay.
Innamo Travel reserves the right to take photographs or recordings of clients during the services. The client accepts that all rights in such recordings are solely owned by Innamo Travel, and that they may be used at Innamo Travel’s discretion in any manner, including on its website, promotional material and advertisements.
Innamo Travel reserves all copyright which may subsist in the products of, or in connection with, the provision of its activities, services or facilities, and reserves the right to take action to restrain or prevent infringement.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Italian law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts.
Innamo Travel is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Personal data you submit is retained for as long as you use our services and systems. Financial data is not stored or recorded. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties unless we are obliged or permitted by law to do so. All personal data is stored securely.
Data may be used for internal record keeping, to help improve our products and services, and to transmit details of our products and services which may be of interest to you, including by email, telephone or postal mail.
Innamo Travel may, from time to time, employ other parties for matters including payment handling, delivery, search engine facilities, advertising and marketing. Providers of such services may have access to certain personal data provided by users of this website.
Innamo Travel may set and access cookies on your computer to estimate audience size and patterns, store your preferences, speed up searches, and recognise you on return visits. You may restrict or delete cookies via your browser, though this may prevent you from using the full range of services on the website.
Under special circumstances, providing a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice and that Innamo Travel is hosting another retreat in the same financial year, Innamo Travel will offer to move the client’s reservation to an alternative date within the same financial year. Any difference in rate must be paid or refunded accordingly, with additional payment due 6 weeks prior to the new start date. No administration charge applies under special circumstances, but the deposit becomes non-refundable once a move is elected, and a maximum of one move is possible.
