How Innamo works
Most people who enquire with Innamo have never worked with a travel advisor before. This page is for them.
The honest answer
Almost never. Usually the opposite. When Innamo books your hotel, the hotel pays us a commission. This is how the travel advisory industry has worked for decades. You pay exactly the rate you would pay if you booked directly, sometimes less, because of our relationships with specific properties. What you gain, through our Virtuoso membership, are benefits that direct bookers simply cannot access: room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, late checkout, and property credits. The value of these additions, across a trip, routinely exceeds any planning fee several times over.
Where Innamo does charge a fee, it covers Nesse’s time: the introductory call, the research, the itinerary, the recommendations, and everything she has learned from twenty years of visiting Italy. It is not a booking fee. It is a creative and advisory fee, for work that takes genuine expertise to do well.
Where it begins
Every Innamo journey starts the same way: a short introductory call with Nesse. Fifteen minutes, free, with no obligation on either side. It is a chance for Nesse to understand where you want to go, what kind of traveller you are, and what you are hoping to feel by the end of the trip. And for you to get a sense of whether Innamo is the right fit.
From there, Nesse will suggest the level of service that makes sense for what you have in mind, and talk through any fees that apply before anything is agreed. You will never receive a bill you were not expecting.

The Route
A bespoke written itinerary, built around your specific trip. Where to eat, what to see, how to spend your time, and the things worth knowing that do not appear in guidebooks. Nesse’s personal recommendations, tailored to you.

The Stay
Everything in Il Percorso, plus Innamo handles your hotel bookings directly. Hotel bookings are always complimentary: the property pays our commission, and you gain access to Virtuoso benefits unavailable to direct bookers.
If you already know where you want to stay and simply want the booking handled and the benefits unlocked, there is no fee at all. A planning fee applies only if you would like a full itinerary alongside the hotel booking.
